Former Speaker of the Florida House Endorses Danny Kushmer
BRANDON, FLORIDA – Danny Kushmer, Republican candidate for Florida House District 59 received the endorsement of Dean Cannon, President & CEO of Gray Robinson. A fifth-generation Floridian, Mr. Cannon began his career as a lawyer in Orlando. He served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2004 until 2012 and became Speaker of the House for the 2010 to 2012 term.
In a meeting in Downtown Tampa, Mr. Cannon and Danny Kushmer discussed the experience, values and ethics needed to represent the people of Florida House District 59. Mr. Cannon discussed historical knowledge in West-Central Florida while looking forward to the 2020 election and beyond. “It is clear, Danny is the right person to Take Back 59 for conservative families and businesses. His passion for the community is evident and his values will unquestionably serve the people of House District 59. Mr. Cannon said.
“While working with the water management district during Mr. Cannon’s tenure in the Florida House, I observed the pivotal role he played in property tax reform, growth management reform, health care and Medicaid reform, and major transportation infrastructure policy initiatives, among many others. I have always been a fan and am honored to have Dean Cannon’s endorsement” Danny Kushmer said.
Kushmer continues his Take Back 59 Tour, with stops throughout District 59. His message is simple, “Bring District 59 back to the conservative values of the businesses and families of West-Central Florida.
Kushmer is a partner in the firm, Florida’s Horizon and is a Realtor working with the firm A and M Realty in Riverview. He grew up in the tomato and tropical fish farms of Hillsborough County and, served as executive director for one of Hillsborough Counties oldest chambers of commerce. A life-long protector of the First and Second Amendment, rest assured, Kushmer will always stand on the side of Freedom of Speech and the protection of America’s Right to Bear Arms.
Kushmer resides in Brandon with his wife Cally; three rescue dogs and a cat. They are the proud parents of four grown children.
