Sunrise over Perfect Day at Cocoa Cay! As the excitement level began to rise, Cally and I jumped out of bed (well Cally did and encouraged me to do the same) to catch the Sunrise before docking at Perfect Day at Cocoa Cay.
This was the excursion Cally and I wanted to maximize. As we planned for the day, we splurged a bit by reserving a pool side cabana in Hideaway Beach
As we rushed to get ready, we wanted to make sure we had time for breakfast at Johnny Rockets. If you can get a seat, we recommend Johnny Rockets for a quick breakfast.
We hit the gangway and began our descent onto Perfect Day at Cocoa Cay. As we walked down the dock, we made sure to get a photo from the Royal Caribbean photographers. Later, we found out the costs for purchasing these photos – WOW. But we did purchase…….
We then hopped on the Hideaway Beach Tram and travelled to the day’s adventure. Our greeter, Linda, was also our cabana host and she walked us down the path telling the Hideaway Beach story. We were the first cabana residents to arrive (as we planned) and Linda began to explain how she was available for all of our needs.
The cabana holds up to 8 guests and as we readied for ours, we asked Linda for the Perfect Day at Cocoa Cay Snack Shack crispy chicken sandwich and fried mozzarella sticks with marinera sauce. This order was made several times during the day. Oh, they also had “Slice of Paradise” pizza and the free-flowing ice cream was just a few steps from the cabana – paradise.
As our guests began to arrive, we gave thanks for this wonderful opportunity.
The rest of the day was filled with the cabana life of hopping in and out of the pool, floating in the Caribbean and visiting other friends near the beach and of course, Perfect Day at Cocoa Cay food.
As the photos and videos suggest, it was a Perfect Day at Cocoa Cay. Once onboard, a nap was in order. Next Up ……… pre-dinner snack then dinner and a show.
