In January 2024, we began the move back to Adamsville, Florida from Huntsville, Alabama. Accomplishing our goals, the time and opportunity was good for this transition. Cally began a new role with her old employer, and I had the chance to begin building our Florida real estate brokerage. In January 2024, we began the move back to Adamsville, Florida from Huntsville, Alabama. Accomplishing our goals, the time and opportunity was good for this transition. Cally began a new role with her old employer, and I had the chance to begin building our Florida real estate brokerage.
During the transition, Cally’s employer announced a company-wide 3-day cruise in May 2024. We had talked about a cruise for a while, she has never been and for me, it has been many years. As we began to plan for “Our First Cruise” we did what everyone does today, we went to YouTube and began the research.
The employer chose the Allure of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean Cruise (RC) Ship with stops in Nassau and Perfect Day in Coco Cay. We were given a suite and several other perks provided by the employer. So next up was to download the RC App and see what else is available. So many choices, so again, we headed to YouTube.
Our first stop was Royal Caribbean Blog, a non-bias (maybe) look at all RC ships, Ports of Call, Activities, and Private Islands. Here we viewed all things Allure of the Seas and its onboard and off board activities.
Royal Caribbean Blog offers daily coverage of news and information related to the RC cruise line along with other relevant topics of cruising, such as entertainment, news, photo updates and more. Matt and his team have been extremely informative during our research.
Once the groundwork had been laid, we then visited Views and Queues with Kerry and Brian. This young couple hit a chord with Cally and I because they seem like old souls. Their content is not only informative, but also well done and entertaining. We then found Life Well Cruised with Ilana.
Ilana and her family live in Montreal, Canada and can often be found dreaming about and planning future cruises, ideally to hot and sunny destinations! She believes in having fun, being kind and that you are never too old, or too young, to live the life of your dreams!
Life Well Cruised is full of incredible and informative content from numerous cruise companies. Lastly, we stumbled onto Cruzely, full of great relevant cruise information. While these have become our primary source of cruise information, we did watch many other videos from great YouTubers.
Bottom line, my Amazon Queen would tell you Views and Queues and Life Well Cruised have been a great source for cruise essentials. She has visited their online store often.
Well, we are only days away and are becoming extremely excited. MORE TO FOLLOW.
