Danny Kushmer is a Fifth  Generation Floridian from Hillsborough County growing up farming ornamental tropical fish. In the late 90’s he graduated from the University of Florida’s Wedgworth Leadership Program for Agriculture and Natural Resources.

Later, He joined the Southwest Florida Water Management District as the Government Affairs Manager for Central Florida and was responsible for fostering a new regional water supply authority. Danny then created the International Responsible Farming Council, an organization designed to tell the farmers story to today’s consumers.

He currently serves as partner with Florida’s Horizon  and Cardinal Academy of Real Estate and in Alabama he is part of REAL Broker, LLC. Danny is married to Cally and they live between Huntsville, Alabama and Tampa, Florida and have four adult children and rescue pets.

Danny serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida Agricultural Hall of Fame and was a previous board of directors for numerous business and commodity organizations including runaway shelters and public relations organizations. He also served as the executive director for the Lakes Education Action Drive supporting improved water quality in West-Central Florida.
