Class VII Leadership Polk Economic Development Day

I am lucky to be participating in Polk Vision’s Leadership Polk. Class VII is made up of the finest leaders in Polk County and to be linked to this great group of professionals is an honor. Yesterday, we had the opportunity to get up close and personal with new business, the arts, the Detroit Tigers, and of course, Publix Supermarkets and their dairy in Lakeland. Below is just a snippet from our day.

10:45 – 11:30 Detroit Tigers Spring Training – Opening Day
11:30– 11:50 Drive to Publix
11:50 – 1:00 Publix Dairy Plant Tour & Working Lunch
1:00 – 1:20 Drive to Downtown Lakeland
1:20 – 2:15 Catapult Tour & Lakeland Economic Development Council Presentation
2:15 – 2:35 Walk to Polk Theatre
2:35 – 4:00 Economic Development and the Arts – Platform Art, Harrison Center for the Visual & Performing Arts
4:00– 4:20 Drive to LRMC
4:20 – 5:30 Lakeland Regional Medical Center Presentation & Tour
5:40 Depart for airport
