Chick-fil-A, Day of Support

While on errands on a Wednesday before lunch I realized today was the day to support Chick-fil-A. While I do not need a reason to stop by Chick-fil-A, I usually do not go into fast food restaurants during the week. Just a little thing I do since losing 50 lbs., I try to eat a little more healthy during the week and splurge a little on the weekends.

I was close to the Chick-fil-A in South Lakeland so I decided to drop by for a chicken sandwich. Whoa, what a crowd!! Just the vehicle traffic to get in was backed up about two blocks.

As I got a little closer and wondering where I would park or would I just make a “U” turn and get back in line for the drive thru. I decided to roll pass and find a spot to park down the road.

I found a parking spot in a furniture business parking lot about a block away and began to walk over to the store. Once I got closer, I realized the wait was going to be tremendous. I then decided just to take a few pics and go back to work. If I had brought by Cannon T3i with me I would’ve spent more time getting good shots. But, I only had my iPhone.

While I didn’t get to partake in a delicious Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich I did enjoy seeing the citizens of Lakeland supporting a business that supports family values. Bottom line, whether you believe in what their CEO said or not, This country still supports the right for him to say it.
